I hope you all do well on your finals and have a great summer! A few last notes on Femme for the semester: Hopefully the fall carnival will ensue and FEMME can have a recruitment table. We plan on handing out the 'plan b' safety packets to freshmen We are interested in holding a pepper-spray safety course and giving out pepper-spray We'd also like to change the movie that has been played about rape to freshmen to something more poingent The position of V.P. is still open! E. at 10:33 PM \| 0 comments Monday, January 30, 2006 The Dreaded "A" Word: ABORTION ATTENTION: THE MOVIE NIGHT WILL BE CANCELED There is a legal policy about movies that Carlow is supposed to abide by, but they haven't all year. When they saw the posters for the film "If These Walls Could Talk" and it said the word 'abortion' on it, they decided to suddenly enforce this policy, most likely without ever having seen the movie. NOTE: The policy was NOT enforced until Femme wanted to show and UNBIASED film about abortion- and advertized just that. The mere usage of the word ABORTION is a problem at Carlow I guess. That is unless you want to send pro-life emails about the man pro-life masses at the Carlow chapel. link \| posted by F. E. M. M.
